If you’re sticking around this weekend, trying to avoid (or not) getting drunk for the real St. Patty’s Day, or just want to switch it up a bit, Alicia from Townery is bringing you this weekend’s noteworthy Hoboken events:

1. Hoboken’s Social Sandbox’s Luck of the Irish Happy Hour is happening this Friday at Trinity. Check out event details here, and get your Guinness on before St. Patrick’s Day on Saturday. (It really is kind of sad that no one cares about the REAL holiday, since Lepre-con/Hobo St. Patty’s is over). Womp.

2. Joey Gay, comedian, is performing Friday night at Willie McBride’s as part of a Comedy Fundraiser for a Better Waterfront. Lots of other local comics will be there. If you like a good laugh, come check it out. Event details here: http://www.townery.com/events/1047795556

3. Art Lovers and Hipster Wannabes: Sunday afternoon at 2pm is the Hoboken Historical Museum’s art opening of a new art exhibit called “Strange Neighbors: The Art and Imagination of Puppet Heap.” Event details here: http://www.townery.com/events/1047795668
